Job summary

Virscio, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking a Senior Veterinary Pathologist to lead preclinical pathology plans and analysis, supporting safety and efficacy studies including nonhuman primate models. The role involves developing SOWs, SOPs, and workflows for consistent pathology reporting.

You will work with management, pathologists, veterinarians, and sponsors to advance capabilities, ensure QA, and oversee study reporting, with remote work options and occasional on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires DVM and ACVP board certification in anatomic pathology.
• Minimum 10 years of preclinical pathology experience, including 5 years with nonhuman primates.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer and histotechnologist training in pathology for translational programs.
• Complete pathology final reports and oversee their generation.
• Lead pathology execution and reporting of histopathology SOWs.
• Collaborate with management and sponsors to align study plans with objectives.
• Ensure data quality and QA across reports and study documentation.
