Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a veterinary pathologist.
• 7+ years of drug development experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO settings.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with residency in anatomic/toxicologic pathology.
• ACVP or ECVP-board certification or equivalent in anatomic pathology.

Responsibilities

• Employ routine H&E evaluations and specialized techniques to characterize safety profile of new drugs.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and design experiments for postmortem evaluations.
• Demonstrate scientific leadership with toxicology, safety pharmacology, and translational teams.
• Lead on development programs, contribute to regulatory strategy and global communications.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and participate in hybrid work environments.
