Job summary

Zoetis’s VPG unit seeks a Board-Certified Clinical Pathologist to join a global pathology team. The role supports diagnostic reporting across cytology, haematology, biochemistry, serology and microbiology while collaborating with client services, R&D and marketing teams.

Hybrid or remote work options are offered, with a focus on service development and CPD. The successful candidate will contribute to clinical education, client experience and quality standards within a leading animal health

Qualifications

• Board certification in Clinical Pathology (ACVP or ECVP) required or equivalent.
• Good computer skills and a strong commitment to diagnostic quality and professional standards.
• Experience in a diagnostic laboratory setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, high-quality and timely reporting across laboratory submissions.
• Provide Point of Care diagnostic support.
• Collaborate with Pathology group and VPG colleagues.
• Interact with laboratory teams and support day-to-day operations.
• Respond promptly to client or laboratory inquiries.
• Understand and use client portal, LIMS, and turnaround times.
• Contribute to client education, business development, and research.
• Attend regular Pathologist and laboratory meetings.
• Uphold VPG values and continue CPD and specialist status.
