Job summary

Vantage Data Centers LLC is seeking a Principal SME for Utility & Grid Infrastructure to lead utility engagement, interconnection studies and grid-ready design across regions. You will partner with Energy Strategy to enable scalable, compliant power delivery for hyperscale data centers.

You will influence platform strategy, assess regulatory considerations, and mentor cross-functional teams to reduce risk and improve reliability in new developments. Remote-US base is allowed.

Qualifications

Experience with utilities, ISOs, RTOs, or large-load interconnection processes.
Strong understanding of grid planning, substations and power delivery.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts for business decisions.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical authority for utility engagement and grid infrastructure.
Define engineering requirements and validate study assumptions with Energy Strategy.
Develop standards and reference architectures for grid-connected systems.
Collaborate across Product Engineering, Energy, Construction and Operations.
