Job summary

Intertwine Associates LLC seeks a Senior Scientist/Engineer to support ARPA-H programs spanning organ preservation, organoids, and bioengineered tissues.

You will collaborate with the Program Manager and teams to advance translational research, manage new and existing R&D initiatives, and help accelerate impactful health outcomes.

The role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to engage with government stakeholders while delivering practical, regulatory-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (PhD or MD) with strong transplantation or regenerative medicine background.
• Demonstrated expertise in organ preservation, ex vivo perfusion, and transplant biology.
• Proven ability to translate science into clinical or operational practice.
• Experience communicating complex data for decision support.
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder R&D programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and strategic support across ARPA-H programs and R&D portfolios.
• Evaluate technologies for clinical feasibility, manufacturability, and regulatory constraints.
• Support donor organ recovery, preservation logistics, and transplant workflow improvements.
• Review proposals, assess milestones, and draft technical recommendations.
• Engage with federal agencies, transplant centers, and industry partners.
• Help identify experts and manage program meetings and briefings.
