Job summary

Intertwine LLC is seeking a Senior Scientist/Engineer to support ARPA‑H initiatives in transplantation, biopreservation, and bioengineering. You will work remotely with 10–20% CONUS travel, collaborating with program managers and teams to drive bold, translational R&D programs aimed at improving patient outcomes.

The role requires an advanced degree in physiology, bioengineering, or regenerative medicine, and deep expertise in organ preservation, ex vivo perfusion, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in a relevant field (e.g., PhD/MD).
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex scientific information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support ARPA-H program management and teams across transplantation and biopreservation projects.
• Evaluate technologies for clinical workflow, manufacturability, and regulatory fit.
• Provide technical and strategic input on tissue/organ preservation and organoid technologies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across academia, industry, and government; prepare briefing materials.
