Job summary

ICF is seeking a Senior Toxicologist to join the Health Science Portfolio. The role emphasizes toxicology, risk assessment, and exposure assessment to support environmental and public health projects. You will lead projects, develop comprehensive reports, and mentor junior staff in a remote setup.

The position requires a Ph.D. with 5+ years (or a Master’s with 10+ years) in toxicology or related fields, with strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in toxicology, pharmacology, environmental science, or related subject with 5+ years of experience.
• OR Master’s in toxicology, pharmacology, environmental science, or related subject with 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Project management and technical leadership on multiple projects with toxicology data and risk assessment.
• Develop toxicological reports, including methods, results, and discussion sections; synthesize weight-of-evidence conclusions.
• Draft protocols, reports, manuscripts, project descriptions, and proposals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address scientific and regulatory questions.
• Perform systematic literature review tasks: screening, data extraction, and dose–response analysis.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior- and mid-level staff.
