Job summary

Gradient, a Geosyntec Company, seeks a Senior Scientist to lead work in human health risk, toxicology, and regulatory support. The role blends independent work with collaboration across disciplines, including exposure science, epidemiology, engineering and chemistry, and involves developing toxicological evidence for reviews and regulatory comments.

You will contribute to business development, cultivate client relationships, and help grow Gradient’s risk sciences practice while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science required.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in toxicology or related field preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with regulatory submissions and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects involving toxicology, occupational health, and site-specific risk assessment.
• Identify opportunities and build client relationships to develop independent clientele.
• Qualitatively and quantitatively assess exposure and health risks from chemicals.
• Prepare deliverables including reports, memos, and agency comments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to meet client, regulatory and scientific expectations.
