Job summary

3M is seeking a Toxicologist to join a global team, conducting human health risk assessments and hazard evaluations for a broad range of products. You will author hazard summaries, support chemical management, and coordinate third‑party toxicology studies.

The role requires a Master’s degree or higher in toxicology or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience, with opportunities to interface with stakeholders and advance scientific methods. Remote in US with some onsite travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in toxicology, pharmacology, biomedical or related field from an accredited university.
• Three (3) or more years of experience conducting toxicological assessments or product safety evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct human health risk assessments on a broad range of 3M products and document hazards and exposures.
• Author chemical hazard summaries for 3M databases and support chemicals management.
• Coordinate toxicology study placements with third-party CROs.
• Evaluate emerging methods, tools and regulatory developments to improve assessments.
• Serve as advisor to internal stakeholders and cross-functional project teams.
• Maintain and enhance technical and professional skills.
