Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Technical Project/Program Manager to lead planning and delivery of digital technology initiatives for a state health plan. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and drive schedules and releases, focusing on enterprise initiatives, provider portal enhancements, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related Project Management experience, or 7+ years in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years delivering digital projects for insurance, healthcare or provider portal initiatives.
• Experience leading enterprise strategic initiatives and managing delivery teams.
• Proficiency with risk logs, action items, project plans and release plans.
• Significant experience leading complex technology projects from planning through implementation.
• Certified PMP/Agile/SAFe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery for digital initiatives with integrated roadmaps and release timelines.
• Coordinate across Agile teams, engineering, product, stakeholders, vendors, and programs.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions with timely escalation.
• Ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and quality expectations.
• Manage resources, capacity, budgeting, and forecasting for delivery.
• Communicate status to senior leadership and business partners.
• Support Agile delivery via PI planning, sprint coordination, and cross-team oversight.
• Coordinate release readiness, change management, and production transition.
