Job summary

Ramboll, a global engineering and consultancy firm, seeks a Senior Technical Lead for Water/Wastewater Infrastructure. The role supports large-scale projects with a focus on linear infrastructure design, including large-diameter mains and CSO systems, across the Americas. Remote-friendly with travel across the region.

You will lead design teams, review work, and contribute to proposals while mentoring staff and building client relationships in the water/wastewater sector.

Qualifications

• B.S. Civil/Environmental Engineering with 12+ years of experience.
• Technical expertise in water and wastewater linear infrastructure design (72"+ mains, CSO, and related systems).
• Pumping stations and water storage design experience is a plus.
• Professional licensure in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, or Midwest regions or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Strong mentoring and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Technical Lead on large, complex programs.
• Lead quality reviewer and coordinate multi-disciplinary design deliverables (calculations, drawings, specs, cost estimates).
• Prepare technical approaches for proposals and fee estimates.
• Train and mentor design and engineering staff.
• Represent Ramboll’s capabilities in professional affiliations and technical presentations.
