Job summary

EY is seeking a Seasonal Senior Manager for tax accounting and planning in the US. This remote role supports the Financial Services Organization, guiding tax provision and related analyses for complex restructurings and IFRS/US GAAP conversions.

You will review tax provisions, strengthen controls, and help ensure accuracy while working with multi-disciplinary teams across the EY network. This seasonal position offers flexible engagement with leading clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred
• Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS
• Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation
• Strong analytical skills, written/verbal communication, interpersonal; problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP)
• Assist companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision
• Review tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy and enhance the control environment
• Assess tax risk and control environments inclusive of SOX 404 beyond the boundaries of Sarbanes-Oxley 404
