Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Seasonal Senior Manager to provide tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning, including internal restructurings, acquisitions, and balance sheet remediation.

You will assist in all aspects of tax provision preparation and review, help improve efficiency and accuracy of the process, and support risk and control implementations within Sarbanes-Oxley 404 scope. This is a remote seasonal role open to Anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred
• CPA license or active state bar membership required
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS
• Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions, stock-based compensation, restatements)
• Assist with all aspects of tax provision preparation and review
• Review tax provision processes to improve efficiency and accuracy and strengthen control environment
• Assess tax risk and control environments inclusive of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404
