Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Sr. Systems Engineer (R&D / Product Engineering) for a medical device leader in Pharmacy Automation Solutions.

You will drive system architecture and define product requirements for complex electromechanical solutions, bridging hardware, software, and systems engineering from concept to commercialization. This role suits engineers with experience in new product development environments and a strong track record collaborating across disciplines to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.

Responsibilities

Define and develop system architecture for complex electromechanical medical technology products.
Lead systems engineering efforts across the product development lifecycle.
Translate business, clinical, and technical requirements into system designs.
Collaborate with software, electrical, mechanical, quality, and product teams.
Drive requirements definition, system decomposition, and interface management.
Support verification and validation planning to ensure regulatory compliance.
Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies during product development.
Advance pharmacy automation solutions to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
