Job summary

GDIT, delivering Federal EHR Modernization support, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to drive interoperability across Oracle Health EHR and partner systems. You will design, implement, and test interfaces, ensuring secure end-to-end data exchange and robust integration environments.

The role requires 5+ years of IT project experience, a Public Trust Level 5 clearance, and the ability to travel up to 25% as needed. Fully remote, US-based position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting medium-to-large IT projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration efforts across the Oracle Health EHR platform, ancillary systems, partner organizations, and external agencies.
• Design and implement interoperability solutions using HL7, X12, IHE, FHIR, and APIs.
• Analyze clinical, financial, and administrative workflows to architect reliable data exchange.
• Configure, test, and maintain interfaces, system connectivity, and integration environments.
• Troubleshoot complex interoperability issues and deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and system diagrams.
• Collaborate across cybersecurity, implementation, and program teams for compliant integration.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and serve as technical lead for integration workstreams.
