Job summary

Horizon Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for a remote role. You will ensure stable operation of in‑house software systems and networks, lead a team of system administrators, and perform capacity planning and vulnerability management.

This role requires a BS/BA in a technical discipline, 10+ years of specialized experience, and DoD 8570 Baseline Certification. Certifications in AWS and MuleSoft are highly valued and expected within 3 months of onboarding.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I.
• BS or BA in a technical discipline.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or MuleSoft Associate expected within 3 months of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the stable operation of in‑house software systems and network connections.
• Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems; analyzes end‑user issues.
• Performs capacity and performance analysis; recommends configuration changes and upgrades.
• Directs work of other system administrators for day‑to‑day admin tasks and troubleshooting.
• Provides vulnerability management and training to end users.
