Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure stable operation of computer systems and networks in a fully remote, nationwide role. You will plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and communications links across multiple locations while resolving end-user issues and training staff.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive experience in Information Processing.
• At least six years specializing in multiple Information Processing disciplines with varied hardware/software.
• At least four years hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize network software and communication links.
• Analyze and resolve end-user software, program, and connectivity issues and provide end-user training.
• Provide maintenance support for operational systems at multiple locations, covering both local and remote systems.
• Perform general maintenance, upgrades, and new installations of servers and applications.
• Apply advanced application networking knowledge, including load balancing and fault tolerance.
• Perform vulnerability management to support secure operation of systems and applications.
• Recommend technology direction aligned with business goals.
