Job summary

Nisga'a Tek, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure stable operation of in-house systems, networks, and applications. Responsibilities include planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing network software and communication links.

Qualified candidates have a technical Bachelor's degree, DoD 8570 IAT II/III certification, and a SECRET clearance, with 10+ years in information processing and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification (IAT II or III) is required.
• Active SECRET clearance is required.
• 10+ years in information processing with substantial hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Analyzes and resolves end user software and connectivity issues.
• Performs capacity and performance analyses and recommends configuration changes.
• Automates system administration tasks and develops procedures for daily operations.
• Provides end user training and guidance on technology.
• Aligns technology direction with business vision and objectives.
• Supports multiple locations with local and remote maintenance of servers and apps.
• Directs other system administrators in day-to-day system administration and optimization.
• Applies advanced application networking knowledge, including load balancing and fault tolerance.
• Performs vulnerability management.
