Job summary

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure stable operation of computer software systems and network connections in a fully remote role. The position requires Secret clearance and DoD 8570.01-M baseline certification for privileged access, with multiple computing environment credentials.

You will plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software, perform vulnerability management, and support systems across locations.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of progressive experience in Information Processing.
• Within that experience, at least six years specializing in multiple Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware and software solutions.
• At least four years of concentrated, hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize network software and communication links.
• Analyze and resolve end-user software, program, and connectivity issues and provide end-user training.
• Provide maintenance support for operational systems at multiple locations, covering both local and remote systems.
• Perform general maintenance, upgrades, and new installations of servers and applications.
• Apply advanced application networking knowledge, including application load balancing and fault tolerance.
• Perform vulnerability management to support secure operation of systems and applications.
• Recommend technology direction that aligns with the organization's business vision.
