Everlane is seeking a Senior Manager of Sustainability to drive the execution of our sustainability strategy across climate, materials, and governance. You will lead cross-functional programs, partner with suppliers, and elevate transparent reporting while guiding a culture of responsible innovation.

You’ll work remotely in the United States, collaborating with teams across Raw Materials, Product Development, Sourcing, Marketing, and operations to embed sustainable practices in product creation

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility, or a related field.
• Experience executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product-focused environments.
• Working knowledge of environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Smooth public speaking and media interaction abilities.
• Active market research, benchmarking, and staying current on sustainability trends.
• Passionate about global sustainability and long-term climate impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of Everlane’s sustainability roadmap across climate, water, waste, and circularity.
• Drive progress against existing commitments, with clear tracking and accountability.
• Translate high-level goals into actionable programs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Partner with Raw Materials and Product Development to integrate lower-impact materials.
• Collaborate with factories and vendors to meet environmental and social standards.
• Develop and evolve vendor compliance programs and data collection.
• Lead quarterly and annual sustainability reporting with accuracy and transparency.
• Support systems tracking environmental and social compliance data.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Creative for sustainability storytelling online and in campaigns.
• Work with Workplace and Retail teams to embed sustainable practices across spaces.
• Provide updates to leadership on progress and key initiatives.
• Represent Everlane in industry conversations, conferences, and working groups.
• Stay informed on sustainability trends, innovations, and regulatory changes.
