Job summary

Sourcewell seeks a Senior Supplier Development Executive to generate revenue by representing cooperative purchasing contracts. The role focuses on achieving profit and margin goals by developing strong supplier relationships, launching new contracts, and driving category growth through engagement strategies and training across in-person and virtual formats.

The position is remote, with travel approximately ten times per year including occasional trips to Staples, MN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Three years of experience in a sales and/or marketing role.
• Five years of experience in advanced sales and marketing management.
• Experience in public procurement and/or government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage awarded contracts for assigned suppliers to achieve P&L goals.
• Develop business plans to drive contract utilization and supplier embracement of Sourcewell with minimal guidance.
• Effectively launch new awarded contracts and onboard new and existing suppliers.
• Maintain proper supplier and contract documentation and manage process of amending contracts when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with awarded contract terms and conditions and the requirements of the Cooperative Purchasing Program Document.
• Attend and effectively present at tradeshows, conferences, internal supplier events and Sourcewell organized events to drive contract growth through increased awareness of Sourcewell.
