Orbital Engineering Inc. is seeking a Senior Substation Physical Engineer for a REMOTE WORK role based in the United States. The position requires leadership in substation design for projects up to 500 kV and may involve PE consideration.

Strong client relations, communication, and mentoring are essential. Responsibilities include technical leadership, development of protection, control and physical design deliverables, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited college or university, or a related field with equivalent experience
• Senior Engineer levels indicate 7+, 10+, 15+ years related experience with PE preferred
• Professional Engineer registration is strongly preferred
• Proficiency with NEC/NESC/NEMA/IEEE and related codes and standards
• Ability to lead staff, delegate, and manage multiple complex assignments

Mansioni

• Lead projects and serve as project lead or independent reviewer
• Provide technical support for clients and support regional business development
• Lead and mentor engineers and designers and contribute to group development
• Conduct field visits for site walkdowns and constructability reviews
• Develop engineering deliverables for substation projects and coordinate with other disciplines
