Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Senior Corporate Development and Planning Analyst to lead complex financial projects within Corporate Development and Capital Planning. You will support enterprise strategy, planning, and major growth initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and alliances.

The role requires building comprehensive business plans, risk assessments and data-driven recommendations, with occasional Northeast Ohio travel for town halls or on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field.
• Three years of functionally related experience.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Solid understanding of financial complexities for strategic partnering transactions including due diligence, modeling, valuation, NPV/IRR and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with finance KPIs, cash flow analysis and proposal development.
• Ability to communicate to department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit financial assessments for enterprise strategic partnering transactions and report findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with Strategy Office, Legal, Tax, Corporate Finance and other experts to develop business plans and risk analyses.
• Provide lead analytical support for prioritizing strategic capital initiatives.
• Prepare and communicate key financial information.
• Support preparation and review of business plans and capital initiative reporting.
• Execute strategic goals in line with organizational requirements and ethics.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Develop and update a portfolio of performance improvement initiatives.
• Potential ad hoc analytical projects and modeling.
• Provide supervision for Analyst staff.
