Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field.
• Three years of functionally related experience.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with deadlines.
• Solid understanding of financial complexities for strategic partnering transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, scenario development, valuation, NPV/IRR and risk assessment.
• Understanding of finance KPIs, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit financial assessments of assigned significant enterprise strategic partnering transactions and report findings and recommendations to department leadership and senior leadership as necessary.
• Work closely with Strategy Office, Legal, Tax, Corporate Finance, Clinical Institutes and other internal and external SMEs to develop comprehensive business plans, risk assessments and sensitivity analyses.
• Provide lead analytical support for assessing and prioritizing strategic capital initiatives in conjunction with the capital planning cycle.
• Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information.
• Assist with preparation and review of business plans and provide reporting on capital initiatives and process.
• Execute strategic and complex departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with organization objectives.
• Demonstrate knowledge of statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements and ensure compliance.
• Develop and update a portfolio of organizational performance improvement initiatives.
• Potential ad hoc assignments involving complex financial modeling and topic deep dives.
• Provide supervision and leadership for Analyst corporate development staff.
