Job summary

BrothersTech is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will design and build scalable full-stack web applications using TypeScript, React on the frontend, Node/Express on the backend, GraphQL/Apollo, and Postgres, deployed in AWS with Terraform.

Fintech exposure and startup experience are highly valued. We value long tenure and progression, remote collaboration across U.S.

Qualifications

• 7-25 years as a Staff/Senior Software Engineer with full-stack web app development from design through deployment
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with hands-on examples of complex systems on your resume
• Experience designing and scaling complex relational DB schemas
• Fintech exposure is a plus
• Experience in high-growth tech startups/VC-backed or FAANG environments
• Familiarity with React on the frontend, Node/Express on the backend, running inside Docker, GraphQL/Apollo
• Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems in the cloud (AWS) with Terraform
• Security risk awareness and an SRE-oriented mindset
• Ability to work remotely within the U.S. time zones
• Long tenure and progression in roles (2+ years) within the same company
