🔍 The Role

We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer who is mission‑driven, product‑focused, and passionate about building high‑quality systems that make a real‑world impact.

You’ll play a key role in building and scaling new products from 0 → 1, influencing technical direction, and mentoring other engineers while collaborating closely with product, design, and business stakeholders. This role is fully remote and open to candidates based anywhere in the United States or Canada. Optional in‑person collaboration is available for those near major hubs.

💥 What You’ll Do

• Build and ship new products and features from concept to production
• Own projects end‑to‑end with a strong emphasis on quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Contribute across the full stack while maintaining a high bar for testing and design
• Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders on roadmap and feature planning
• Talk directly with users to inform technical and product decisions
• Mentor junior engineers and help raise the overall engineering bar
• Contribute to hiring, interviews, and evolving engineering culture

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience building production applications
• Deep expertise with TypeScript
• Experience scaling modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.) and/or backend systems (Node.js, MongoDB, AWS)
• Background in product‑focused startups or high‑growth technology companies
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and leadership skills
• Clear communicator with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Lifelong learner with a growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement
• Base salary: $220,000–$240,000 (depending on location, level, and experience)
