Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer for the Infrastructure Platform team. You will design, build, and operate SailPoint’s global Identity Security Cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will lead Kubernetes operations (EKS/AKS), service mesh, and PCI compliance initiatives, while mentoring engineers and driving automation in a remote, globally distributed setting. You will influence architecture, promote GitOps, and champion AI-assisted automation across DevOps, SRE,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of production 24x7 SaaS or cloud services experience.
• 12+ years in containerization, virtualization, and configuration management.
• 5+ years multi-account AWS infrastructure and guardrails.
• 5+ years hands-on Kubernetes in production at scale.
• 5+ years Terraform (IaC) across multiple accounts/regions.
• 5+ years designing and implementing CI/CD for Terraform, Kubernetes, microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a resilient, secure multi-account AWS SaaS platform.
• Operate production Kubernetes clusters on AWS (EKS) and Azure (AKS).
• Define and drive Kubernetes and service mesh standards across teams.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response with GitOps and CI/CD.
• Mentor engineers; lead platform engineering practices and incident resolution.
• Support PCI DSS compliance through secure platform design and audit readiness.
• Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
