Job summary

TECEZE is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance reliability, performance, scalability, and security of high-traffic web platforms. The role is remote, requiring collaboration with Development, QA, and Engineering teams to automate processes and resolve production issues.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead incident response, perform load and performance testing, and drive best practices across the SDLC while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE/DevOps or similar roles.
• Experience supporting mission-critical, high-traffic environments.
• Strong programming experience: Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Frontend tech: React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong monitoring, alerting, and incident management experience.
• Production troubleshooting and RCA experience.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Monitor systems and create monitoring and alerting strategies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform RCA.
• Lead incident response and resolution.
• Perform and analyze load testing and performance testing.
• Review penetration testing results and help resolve security vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with Development and QA teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Drive reliability and operational best practices.
