Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead Microsoft SQL Server initiatives across LifePoint and acquired entities. The role combines technical leadership with operational support, risk management, and HIPAA compliance in a remote setting.

You will design, optimize, standardize, and automate SQL systems, develop workflows, triage level 3 incidents, and manage vendor relationships and budgets. Travel is limited to up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant database management experience.
• Experience in a multi-facility healthcare company.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and procurement input.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for multiple Microsoft SQL systems and standardize processes.
• Build, design, and optimize SQL systems to support HITS Infrastructure goals.
• Develop workflow and methodology processes for SQL systems.
• Triage and resolve level 3 incidents from the ticketing system.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure accountability to business objectives.
• Provide risk guidance and support procurement and budgeting for SQL systems.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Regular attendance and reliability.
