Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to provide Microsoft SQL expertise and strategic support across LifePoint and acquired entities. This role combines technical leadership with operational support, risk management, and healthcare compliance responsibilities.

The Senior DBA will design, optimize, and automate SQL systems, manage vendor relationships, budgeting input, and HIPAA compliance while traveling up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of database management experience.
• Experience in a multi-facility healthcare company and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, standardize, and automate Microsoft SQL systems and workflows.
• Triage and resolve level 3 incidents; manage vendor relationships and procurement input.
• Provide risk management guidance and support regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
