Job summary

ICF is seeking a Senior Specialist for our Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Buildings within the Utility Programs & Services division to help transform and scale ICF's utility program offerings nationally. You will work with SMEs across North America on pre- and post-sales support, market research, and proposal development.

You will collaborate with local teams to standardize approaches, drive building electrification, DERs, and energy efficiency initiatives, and optimize delivery and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business administration, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in design, construction, operation, or optimization of commercial & industrial buildings with energy efficiency expertise.
• Experience with DERs, utility programs, or related technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local teams to develop and support business and development capture activities, including market research and proposal text.
• Assist with evolving C&I offerings in collaboration with Offering Managers and SMEs.
• Lead technical efforts in building electrification, demand-side management, DERs, and grid-interactive buildings.
• Evaluate new technologies and market trends to support program design and client outcomes.
• Promote standardized approaches across teams to improve delivery and cost efficiency.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration engineering or related field
