Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Senior BD Manager - Commercial to drive growth across commercial and civil space markets. You will own the full deal lifecycle from discovery to closure, collaborating with Engineering and Product to deliver integrated solutions for customers in remote sensing, satcom, and orbital infrastructure.

The role requires 5+ years in aerospace-related technical roles and 7+ years in BD/sales, with a US person status due to ITAR/EAR.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience in aerospace, including engineering or technical sales.
• 7+ years in BD or sales with full lifecycle responsibilities.
• Experience managing complex external relationships with customers during pre-sales and execution.
• U.S. Person status required due to ITAR/EAR export control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end commercial and civil space business capture.
• Lead customer discovery and lead generation to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with Mission Engineering and Product to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage active pipeline and increase deal velocity with cross-functional collaboration.
• Implement qualification criteria and price estimation for standard deals.
• Deliver market sizing reports and customer discovery insights for next-generation verticals.
• Oversee deal closure and ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to execution.
