Job summary
SHI is seeking a Sr. Solutions Consultant - SDDC to assist clients with post-sales data center automation initiatives. You will design, deploy, and upgrade enterprise infrastructure and platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. This remote role includes mentorship and client-facing delivery, with opportunities for pre-sales involvement.
The position emphasizes hands-on deployment, architecture validation, and leadership across projects in a modern data center environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in solutions architecture or infrastructure.
- 5+ years with VMware and associated product range in enterprise environments.
- Strong virtualization and software-defined data center knowledge.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Perform low-level design and implementation work including architecture analysis and system migration.
- Design and implement VMware VCF (Brownfield and Greenfield) and Aria Automation.
- Lead and mentor other consultants and engineers on projects.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical guidance to enable service adoption.
- Stay current with industry trends and offerings.
