Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Architect - SDDC to guide post-sales data center automation initiatives, including design, migration, and integration with existing systems. This remote role centers on delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions and mentoring junior consultants.

You will lead design, collaborate withSales and presales, and stay at the forefront of virtualization and cloud technologies to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in solutions architecture or similar infrastructure roles.
• 7+ years with VMware and related enterprise environments.
• 8–10+ years of technical experience with increasing responsibility.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Thorough understanding of virtualization technologies and software-defined data centers.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-level design and implementation, including architecture analysis and system migration.
• Serve as technical lead and SME on projects and workshops, guiding team output.
• Collaborate with sales/pre-sales to identify and close professional services opportunities.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other architects and consultants.
• Stay current with industry trends and advocate best practices.
