Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Consultant - SDDC for post-sales data center automation projects. You will design and deploy enterprise infrastructure, including migrations, and ensure smooth integration with existing systems. This is a remote position with home office setup as determined by SHI management.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration in pre- and post-sales activities, with ongoing adaptation to virtualization and IaC trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture or infrastructure with increasing responsibility.
• 5+ years of VMware experience and related enterprise product knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-level design and implementation, including architecture analysis and system migration.
• Serve as technical lead and mentor to consultants and engineers within the team.
• Participate in pre-sales discussions, design, and planning of services engagements.
• Provide guidance on virtualization, automation, and data center modernization.
• Stay current on trends and offerings to support successful customer engagements.
