Job summary

Specific Gravity Group is seeking a senior Solutions Architect for restaurant and hospitality technology. You will design end‑to‑end IT solutions across POS, networks, AV, and security, and lead implementation for multi‑unit brands.

Hybrid remote role with travel to client sites in the US; you will scope and manage store openings and large refresh programs, partner with PMs, and provide escalation support when needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT experience in multi‑unit restaurant, hospitality, or retail environments.
• Hands‑on experience with restaurant/retail technology stacks: POS platforms and back‑of‑house networks.
• Solution architecture across desktop, server, AV, network, and security with hands‑on implementation.
• New store openings or multi‑site rollout experience with deadlines.
• Strong Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration (Intune, Entra ID, Azure).
• Project management: scoping, budgeting, scheduling, resource coordination.
• Ability to present technical solutions to non‑technical operators.

Responsibilities

• Design and present technical solutions for multi‑unit restaurant and retail environments across POS, network, desktop/server, AV, drive‑thru, and security, then lead implementation.
• Scope, manage, and deliver projects end to end, including new store openings and multi‑site refreshes.
• Act as overflow Program Manager, taking ownership of active programs when workload requires.
• Support sales with technical discovery, solution design, and client presentations.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex support issues that stump the help desk.
• Drive improvement of internal systems, tooling, and processes.
• Communicate directly with client stakeholders from GMs to franchise executives.
