Cognizant is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to define and drive secure, scalable, and compliant architectures for critical financial services platforms in a FedRAMP High environment. You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and business stakeholders to modernize platforms and deliver cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software/solution/enterprise architecture experience.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments (banking, securities servicing, capital markets, trust).
• Expertise with Azure Government and cloud-native principles (APIs, microservices, containers).
• Hands-on with .NET or Java and modern integration architectures.
• Strong knowledge of FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, secure SDLC, IAM, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native, highly available, and secure architectures for financial services platforms and client integrations.
• Define enterprise architecture standards for APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, data management, integration patterns, and security controls.
• Partner with cybersecurity and DevSecOps to align solutions with FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, audit logging, and continuous monitoring requirements.
• Review and govern solution designs to ensure scalability, resiliency, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead architecture modernization efforts and guide technical strategy, risk management, and production support models.
