Job summary

CoinList is seeking a senior smart contract engineer to build and secure onchain contracts across assets and tokenized offerings. You will design scalable systems, own critical onchain components, and coordinate with the CTO in a fast-paced, greenfield environment.

Remote work is supported across the US. You’ll work with Solidity on mainnet, implement upgradeable patterns, and collaborate with auditors to enhance asset access via the Passage platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years writing Solidity in production.
• Deep understanding of the EVM, including storage layout, gas, memory, calldata, ABI, events, and indexing.
• Knowledge of modern Solidity patterns: proxies, upgradeability, access control, signature verification (EIP-712), replay protection, and defenses against reentrancy and price manipulation.
• Real tooling and testing discipline: Foundry or Hardhat, fork tests, fuzzing and invariants, robust testing workflows.
• Attacker mindset: consider exploits like flash loans, MEV, and malicious tokens, and document findings.
• Commitment to shipping high-quality, deadline-driven code in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ship contracts to mainnet on EVM chains with a focus on security and reliability.
• Design contract systems from ground up, including boundaries, interfaces, storage, upgrade strategy, and access control.
• Own meaningful onchain work, including token sale contracts and related products.
• Treat security as a core responsibility: adversarial review, external audits, fuzzing, invariant testing, and testnet rehearsals.
• Opportunity to grow and expand skills to Rust and Solana runtimes if desired.
