Job summary

General Motors seeks an accomplished engineering leader to guide a large group of software professionals in delivering complex vehicle development and product initiatives. You will drive architecture, evaluate new technologies, and ensure alignment with GM’s goals while maintaining high quality and performance.

In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor leaders, and influence strategy through presentations and technical oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in software engineering, development, or related role.
• Experience with designing scalable architectures and services, including frontend, backend, and graphics components.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, RESTful APIs, and modern software tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead large teams of engineers and 3 People Leaders, directing delivery of engineering objectives.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, and development processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to align technology with business goals.
