Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Client Experience Frameworks to lead scalable systems and platform reliability in a remote US-based role. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to translate complex requirements into practical tech solutions and influence architecture and execution quality.

Responsibilities include designing cross-framework UI components, driving design-system adoption, and mentoring through code reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong TypeScript expertise with emphasis on maintainable code.
Experience with modern UI frameworks and component architecture across frameworks.
Deep understanding of web fundamentals including Web Components and browser APIs.
Proficient with build systems and bundlers like Webpack or Vite.
Experience building or maintaining a design system or shared UI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design and build cross-framework UI components for diverse frontend technologies.
Drive adoption of design systems across engineering teams, facilitating migrations.
Own the complete technical delivery process including architecture decisions.
Enhance developer experience via tooling, testing infrastructure, and automation.
Make informed decisions on component design, API architecture, and maintainability.
Prioritize performance, accessibility, and web standards in all deliverables.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship through code reviews and consulting.
