Baylor Genetics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. This remote role requires extensive technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and will involve mentoring junior engineers to deliver scalable systems.

You will lead software development, provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and contribute to architectural design while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science or related field required.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including large-scale or complex systems.
• Proficiency with SQL Server.
• Proficiency with REST APIs.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as .NET, React and Angular.
• Proficiency with version control systems and software development tools.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Leadership skills to mentor junior engineers.
• Preferred: MS or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in healthcare, clinical diagnostics, genomics, or NGS environments.
