Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Crane, IN. This is a remote position offering a challenging role in building scalable, secure software for government-focused projects.

The successful candidate will write and maintain code, implement tests, and contribute to documentation while working with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services. Security clearances and DoD standards are a focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering and/or software development.
• Must possess CASP+/CISSP or equivalent DoD 8570.01/8140 IAT Level III or obtain within 30 days of offer.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code using TypeScript for Angular web app logic and JavaScript for RESTful APIs.
• Implement unit tests with Vitest and perform code reviews to ensure quality and performance.
• Support front-end development with responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, Angular, PrimeNG, and TypeScript.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and design schemas for MySQL databases to support backend functionality.
• Maintain comprehensive public-facing application documentation.
• Containerize apps with Docker and Docker Compose; manage images across environments.
• Develop in compliance with STIG guidelines.
