Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a Senior Site Activation Manager II to lead start-up and activation of clinical research sites across complex studies. You will coordinate with sponsors, project teams, regulatory stakeholders, and sites to ensure compliant, on-schedule activation.

This REMOTE role welcomes candidates nationwide. You will mentor colleagues, drive process improvements, and contribute to proposals and budgets while upholding ICH GCP guidelines and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with clinical research experience.
• Minimum seven years of CRO or pharmaceutical industry experience in start-up/project/site management.
• Strong leadership, planning, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
• Solid knowledge of ICH GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead study start-up and site activation activities across projects.
• Serve as main contact for site activation deliverables and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet critical path on time and budget.
• Monitor site identification, documentation, regulatory submissions, and contracts.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies for on-time delivery.
• Track activation metrics and report status to sponsors.
• Develop site activation plans with project teams and budgets.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, and business development related to site activation.
• Coach Site Activation Managers and support SOP improvements.
