Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking a Senior Service Processor within the Payment Services team of Group Protection Shared Services. You will support the claims organization by calculating and issuing complex disability payments, using Excel tools and policy provisions.

This remote role offers the chance to grow in the group insurance industry, with ongoing learning, collaboration with internal teams and a focus on accuracy, deadlines, and Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of progressive experience in a financial services environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work with others in a team and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Establish complex payments in the system and maintain payment tracking.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure financial accuracy for claimants.
• Gather information from multiple sources to determine benefits.
• Work independently within established procedures to meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Apply knowledge to increasingly complex situations and expand your role.
• Establish follow-up tasks for claims examiners and identify offsets based on other income sources.
• Adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley, corporate compliance, and GAAP.
