Job summary

Lincoln Financial is seeking a Payroll Operations Processor II to support Retirement Plan Services in a remote work setup. The role involves updating and processing routine and non-routine retirement plan payroll files, balancing workload across multiple sponsors, and ensuring accurate payroll reporting at the plan sponsor level.

You will operate independently within established procedures, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and managing deadlines in a detail-oriented

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.required
• 2-3 years of processing or similar experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to maneuver through multiple systems/databases/software.
• Proven adaptability and flexibility as business needs change.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support change management and departmental/enterprise initiatives.
• Make routine and non-routine decisions with increasing discretion.
• Resolve retirement plan payroll files not in good order by contacting stakeholders.
• Monitor incoming work queues and mailboxes to ensure timely completion.
• Escalate issues/concerns to management.
