Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to collaborate with multiple teams to strengthen security across infrastructure, cloud, and applications, including threat modeling and architectural reviews.

You will automate security tasks with Python, review designs, oversee vulnerability scanning, and contribute to compliance programs such as HiTrust and ISO 27001, while supporting audits and the on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with focus on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Experience building secure cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices (CIS, NIST, OWASP).
• Willingness to travel within the US on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to promote security controls and architectural reviews.
• Review designs to assess security posture and recommend architectural changes.
• Develop automation using Python and other tools.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers, and cloud.
• Contribute to compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001).
• Support customer and vendor audits.
• Participate in on‑call rotations.
