Job summary

Integris is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to lead governance, risk, and compliance engagements for clients, including vCISO services. You will develop strategic roadmaps, guide policy governance, and provide executive-level advisory on risk and security posture.

You will mentor teams, drive audit readiness, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment and continuous improvement across SMB environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Certification requirements include CISA, CISSP, CRISC, ISC2 CGRC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor (or equivalent).
• 7+ years in GRC, risk management, security consulting, audit, or advisory roles.
• Mastery of risk management and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements for SMB environments.
• Mastery of vulnerability and incident response governance.
• Deep understanding of SMB business architecture and security tradeoffs.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management expertise.
• Proficiency with GRC platforms, Microsoft 365, and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multi-quarter security and compliance roadmaps aligned to client goals and risk posture.
• Lead SBRs for vCISO clients, delivering executive-level insights, metrics, and prioritized recommendations.
• Translate regulatory and framework requirements into practical, business-aligned initiatives.
• Provide budget advisory aligned to roadmap execution and risk reduction outcomes.
• Mentor Security Consultants and Analysts through review, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
