Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure software delivery, cloud security engineering, automation, and cybersecurity integration for the VA COSE program. You will drive modern DevSecOps practices, integrate security across the lifecycle, and enable secure automated delivery of enterprise cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities include designing pipelines, integrating security testing, supporting cloud infrastructure modernization, and maintaining runbooks

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in DevSecOps and 5 years in cybersecurity/cloud security.
• Eligible for VA Tier 4/High Risk background investigation.
• Experience with federal agencies comparable to VA/DoD/IRS or GSA.
• IAT III, IAM III, or IASAE III certification may substitute for a degree or four years of experience.
• One or more certification: IAT Level III, IAM Level II, IASAE Level III.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise DevSecOps pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Integrate security controls and testing throughout software development and deployment lifecycles.
• Support secure cloud engineering, infrastructure-as-code, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and compliance validation activities.
• Evaluate, deploy, and optimize cybersecurity tools and automation capabilities.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting enterprise security objectives.
• Support Zero Trust, cloud security, container security, and software supply chain initiatives.
• Create engineering runbooks, technical documentation, and implementation standards.
