Job summary

Tech Army, LLC is seeking an experienced Security Architect-Consultant / Senior Security Engineer to support a large enterprise cybersecurity environment across state agencies. This 12-month remote role is highly hands-on, focusing on security automation, Linux, IAM, and SOC operations.

You will design and deploy automations, build Python tools, integrate security platforms via REST APIs, and support SOC analysts and incident responders from a remote capacity within the continental United States.

Qualifications

• Broad hands-on security engineering experience.
• Strong Python development and cybersecurity automation.
• Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, and vendor SDKs.
• Experience integrating enterprise security technologies and platforms.
• Experience supporting large enterprise IT/security environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 8 years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise security automations and tools.
• Build Python-based scripts, applications, APIs, dashboards, CLI utilities, and integrations.
• Develop automated workflows for alert enrichment, triage, incident response, containment, case management, and notifications.
• Integrate enterprise security technologies using REST APIs, SDKs, JSON, YAML, and web services.
• Support IAM provisioning, deprovisioning, RBAC, and service accounts.
• Deploy and monitor Linux-based security systems and Docker environments.
• Support SOC analysts, engineers, incident responders, and agency stakeholders.
