Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SDET Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will design and implement scalable test automation, contributing to production-quality test code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed quality across the SDLC.

The ideal candidate combines strong programming skills with expertise in testing strategy, including unit, integration, performance, and security testing in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years as SDET or test-focused software engineer.
• Strong programming in Java, Python, JS, or C#.
• Experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable test automation frameworks.
• Write production-quality automated tests in Java, Python, JS, or C#.
• Implement contract testing to validate service contracts.
• Build CI/CD test pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Develop performance tests with JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.
• Perform security testing fundamentals including SAST/DAST and OWASP checks.
• Lead test strategy discussions and risk-based testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to identify quality risks.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of production incidents and translate findings into tests.
• Drive continuous improvement of test coverage and time-to-feedback.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and maintain test documentation.
